New Alpacas and Fencing

We purchased nine alpacas to add to our heard, seven females and two beautiful future herdsires.  Breeding season has started as well and we have lots of females to be bred.  Also, new fencing is being installed, which will give the alpacas more room to run around. We are very excited about what the next year holds for our ranch.

Move Complete

 It seemed to take forever, but we are moved into the new place. The alpacas made the transition much better than I anticipated. The guard dogs are another story, they seem to find every weak spot in the fence and wonder the neighborhood. I think they have met more of our neighbors then we have. We also added a few suris to the herd, which we are very excited about. I need to work on some more pictures to post. Look for updates coming soon.

We're Moving!!

That's right...we finally closed on the house.  It has taken 3 months, but we finally were able to close.  We are so excited to start moving and will begin the process next week.  Now we just hope our moving goes smoothly.
The pups are doing great!  They are part of the herd and sleep among the alpacas.  They are getting big and are learning to get into everything.  We also started our breedings for the season and are gearing up for shearing season.  With shearing comes sorting the fleece, so I hope to be very busy the next few months.
