We had our first loss of an alpaca. Crystal's cria died in utero causing her to become septic. We tried everything we could, but were not able to save Crystal. We were saddened by the loss as she was the first alpaca we owned. She has given us many beautiful crias and it was her picture we used for our logo.
Our moving has been pushed back to February due to some unforeseen delays. We hope to close on our new home by the middle of February. We will also be getting our Great Pyrenees guard dogs very soon. We have decided to name one Crystal in honor of our first alpaca owned and lost. We are looking forward to our move and the two pups.
